Quality Fields Near Essex, MD

I'm looking to get into airsoft in the Essex, Md area, I see the field list but from experience where do you guys think I should start any good ideas? I'm new to the field play and do backyard airsoft now any suggestions or nooby thing I may not know about yet?

SOG or PAP are the nicest fields around that play on a regular basis.

Thanks a lot for your time, I looked at them and it looks like SOG is nice but it seems to be a private field, so if I can't make the open houses then do I just wait until they have another. I like the way the field and all seems but their website has not been updated since 2012. I also viewed PAP, well I Google it and found paintball adventure park and their opfor airsoft division. From this page it gives me a very generic location and time with no more information and a broken link, anymore information that you could give would be greatly appreciated. Hope to see you on the field, eventually

Check out the events on the events calendar for SOG just post on one of them you are welcome to try their field out and the first time out its free.  PAP plays every single Saturday and Sunday there it's now Old Line Tactical Airsoft organizing the events, they mainly use facebook and CAA to organize their games but I can assure you its every single saturday and sunday

Awesome thanks! I think I may try starting off with SOG maybe at the end of the month, thanks again for the help. Is there anything specific that I should bring that is not listed on the event page. I know to bring my ammo guns batteries and full seal goggles but do I need a gun bag or have a fps limit.
