HELP! PISTON STRIP!

I have an i.c.s m16. Today i got a high performance motor for it and a 11.1v lipo batt.After installing  the motor i plugged in the batt and shot 300rnds of bbs. Next thing i know i hear grinding. i took my gun apart and saw that the piston teeth are stripped to fucking hell. SO NOW i need to get a new piston...  any suggestions on what piston i should get and how can i prevent this from happening again.
