rules on mask

I have got a problem with the masks rules for minors. Im 16 and i have so many things to use to protect my face but regular masks made aof metal or plastic get congested and hot i have plenty of bandanas that are good thickness and an awsome ski mask modeled after MW2's ghost and im pissed that rules say i may not be able to where them. I think we should be able to choose what we wear im not talking about googles i dont have a problem with those but just i have been shot in the face plenty and i just think deciding what people have to where is stupid. Need to hear peoples thoughts on this

yes i agree as well. I wish the rule was that minors had to have full seal GOGGLES and something to protect your mouth and ears. but no, it seems that everywhere people under 18 are required to have a full facemask...

Since your under 18, you don't really have a choice on what protective gear you can wear at others fields. Anywhere you go you will find the same standard rule set. Each place with minor variations of such. Some places, like Ramas, allow mesh eye protection. While others will not. If you go home with a missing front tooth, the event operator is held accountable for that if you are considered a minor. In my opinion, most places have less than adequate rule sets regarding face protection. I know it sucks, but it's really for everyone's safety. There are a TON of cool looking and comfortable full face masks out there. I'm sure you can find one that will fill your needs, and still meet the requirements of the fields you attend.

I like to play pretty hard core & after being hit in the face many times at close range I prefer full seal. Play does get very close at times, & some shoot back eventhough you peacefully bunker them. Everyone should wear full seal. Is it really worth loosing an eye to look cool ? I wouldn't want to be standing there when your parents come to pick you up & your eye is poped ! Just play safe, shoot ya'll soon :?

mask should definitely be required plsu wearing the mesh mask dont get foggy or hot so its not that big of a deal

You couldn't pay me to wear mesh googles! With my mesh lower face mask I have had bb's break and tiny pieces hit me in the face even with the added beard protection it still stung a good bit. Like Steve and Jeff said it's not worth losing an eye or tooth over. Full seal , full face and some thing over the ears for me thank you!!

Never used mesh goggles, & now I definately wouldn't. I break bb's all the time but didn't think about pieces coming thru the mask. Thanks Rick
