Supporting Members Idea

Okay well we now have the ability to have paid memberships for those interested in showing their support to the website by paying a small amount each month ranging anywhere from $1-$5. With this we could add the ability to feature you as a member as well as give you access to special areas that regular members cannot access, mainly private forums and private groups.

To have the ability to use this feature it would cost us an additional $19.99/month so I am interested in knowing how many people would actually be a Supporting Member of the site and send a small amount of anywhere from 1-5 bucks depending on how many people would be interested in doing this.

At first I just want to be able to just about break even that is how I will decide the monthly price, 19.99/# of Donators; So if there are 5 people who will donate it will be around $4/month and if 10 people who will donate it will be around $2/month. We just dont want to loose money from the get go, but if we don't make any extra thats okay for now, as we will keep steadily growing and hopefully get more supporting members which will then make the site able to actually support it's own cost of $24.95/month. Optimistically we will eventually even make more then that if we have enough supporters and all the funds will go to site upgrades and giveaways and such to give back to the community!

This is not something we are for sure going to do or not but I am just interested in seeing what everyone thinks of the idea and how many people would actually be interested in becoming a supporting member. And at what price do you think would be best. We are open to ideas and suggestions, and if you dont like the idea let us know that as well.
