Support guns (M249, M240B, RPK ect.) Fair or noobish?

I am a support gunner so I see no issue with my M249 with an auto loading mag. There are some people who say they are unfair and suck because of their high ammo cap. My thing is that their job is to suppress the enemy and cover the team which is why its a support gun. What are your opinions?

Love my M-60 shoots all day ! With all the new guns , p*'s and all you need cover fire .

Saw's are important to squad movements. I cant tell you the number of times ive been pinned by Jeff's freakin 60. Yes its noobish, because its effective. And to have to know what your doing to be a good squad gunner.

I dont thin its noobish if you have one. as long as you are not sitting in one spot the whole game and you dont run and gun. so move spot to spot and only use it when its necessary. use your side arm or another primary and use it only to support your team.

My 249 polarstar engine is on the way! It's part of the game it exists in the real world it's not anymore noob ish then hi cap mags 10 hicap m4 mags is 3600+ rounds saw box mag= less then 2500 and a slow reload if one brings an extra bag off BBs. Running saw is expensive and not for the noob a lot of weight and responsibility comes along.

It's noobish for a squad to not have one. Just because they have a large capacity doesn't mean they are with out their drawbacks such as being heavy and slugish, Most support weapons have a slower rate of fire and lower accuracy as well. After running around with one for 8 hours you will learn to respect the players who use one.

Yea that means you got a spare gearbox! Found out it pulls an m130 pretty easy with a 9.6
