S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Airsoft Association

Good evening everyone. Myself and a friend are currently working on making airsoft events based on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series of video games (other compareable video games include the Fallout series and Metro 2033) These events will be different from any other event you may have played; it can be considered a 'role-playing airsoft event'. The events will follow closely to the storylines and details in the series. We plan on having a multi-day event during the summer and possibly a one day beta event.

Quick summary if you have no idea what I'm talking about. In the series, STALKER is an acornym; it stands for Scavenger, Trespasser, Adventurer, Loner, Killer, Explorer, Robber. Stalkers are people who live in "The Zone", the area surrounding Chernobyl, Ukraine, to make their fortune by collecting artifacts and technology found due to strange events caused by the radioactivity. in this event, the emphasis will not be force on force action, but on individuals or groups of individuals and their intereactions with certain factions of Stalkers, the Military, and/or other individuals.

In this game, there will be merchants, traders, bounty hunters, mercenaries, mutants, loners and many other sorts of players you will interact with, along with a money system and a barter system. You will only be able to use ammo that you buy with in-game money you earn (or loot).

Right now there is no set date for events; we are busy trying to secure an AO for this event(s). If you think you have a suitable field, message me or post on the Facebook page. Also, this event will require volunteers; if you want to volunteer, let as know as well.

This sounds ver interesting. I have played fallout series and loved it. To play these types of games would be different and very cool!
