my hop up recently broke on my m4. so i switched to a metal body and 1 piece hop up. now it only shoots about 50-70 feet. my gearbox will not fit back in my plastic body correctly. i ordered a one piece hopup with the barrel already installed, so i am wondering if someone can help me install everything and have it shooting correctly. (before all of this i could engage targets at almost 220feet)

i have a m120 spring, polycarb piston, and high torque gears installed (idk if this makes a difference)

help installing everything would be greatly appreciated, its the only gun i have now and i have no money.

Did you tear apart the gearbox at all? With no hop at all, is the bucking still visible looking down the barrel(from the hop up end)? Is the hop up searing correctly against the gearbox(should be able to see it from the mag well)? Are you having loading problems as well? What metal body? What plastic body? What hop-up barrel?
Steve

ive taken the gearbox apart a few times

yes it is still visible

yes its searing against the gearbox

yes im having feeding problems.

it was a dboys metal body

plastic body is the stock echo1

stock barrel and a plastic dboys 1 piece hop up.

Not yet, it's had to say without looking at it, but the problem has to be something to do with the air nozzle/tappet. Especially if you are having feeding issues as well. I should have just drove down there and checked it out when I had time ;( Just make sure the gearbox is assembled correctly, especially the nozzle and tappet assembly, and check to make sure the bucking isint stuck in the full hop position. That happened with this junk JG I got in a mystery box. I could check it out for ya tomorrow after work if your available. I will be back in the area around 6-7pm.

that would be greatly appreciated lol i dont have the money for a new gun and i put way too much money into it.
and the only reason i have feeding issues is because the mags dont sit right in the mag well.
If they are a little wobbly, wrap some electrical tape around te top of them. I had to do that with my G&G. Send me a msg on Facebook with your number. I'll call you when I get back in the area.
