joining a team.

Was wondering how to join a team. Do I try to find one near me or do I wait till some asks me to join? I live in Waldorf, MD. Willing to drive bout an hour or so to play.

Well the first step is probably playing with some teams and get the feel for it and then pick a team you like best.  Your most likely not going to get on a team without previously playing with them.

Just looked up waldorf on the google maps, and it's farther south than I thought. You might want to contact Dogs Of War, or Southern Maryland Airsoft Team. I'm sure there are others, but those are the two that come to mind for that region. Here are some links.

Thanks for the info. I knew playing with the teams would be good first. Just didn't know if it was invite only to actually join the teams. Now that I see most have some what of an application that's cool.

Thank you for your question. To find a team near you take a look at each team. Most teams will list the city they are based in. Some have their own websites which will further assist you in learning how to join.

Thanks. I saw the new forum section. Good idea. I think it will be very useful. Plus all the info I have gotten on this forum has been great. I definitely can't wait to get my gear and start getting some plastic flying.
