Fallout: Escape from NJ - ET Paintball 6/4/11

 

A mash up of Fallout 3, Jericho, Escape from New York and Mad Max. Charity airsoft game to benefit the New York Zoo and the Wounded Warrior Project. Players will start the game limited to pistols and shotguns and must search for ammunition and prizes, and complete mission "quests" to gain use of their AEGs.


BACKGROUND
World War 3 ended a decade ago, New Jersey is a radioactive wasteland, and totalitarian Paramilitary warlords vie to rule what's left. In this post-apocalyptic game setting, ammunition is a rare commodity.

PARKING: Drive into Wild West City. Look for a gate to the rear left side of the WWC parking lot leading down a steep dirt ramp to ET's small parking lot. If the lot is full, park in the WWC lot. The staging area is further down the dirt road approx 400m from the ET lot. Only staff and the owner are allowed to drive to staging.


GAME FEES 
PayPal only, no field payments. Refundable prior to game (see PayPal link for details.) A portion will be donated to the New York Zoo and the Wounded Warrior Project. Registration opens May 7.

$25 Vet discount rate (return players from last year's Fallout games)

WEAPON REQUIREMENTS
Players will start with only pistols, bolt-action rifles, springers or shotguns. All other weapons are restricted until player recovers their mags. Non-NPC players must fire in semi-only until they complete the "Full-Auto Upgrade Quest". 

FPS LIMITS
•400fps limit w/.25g all non-sniper weapons
•500fps limit w/.25g fixed semi-only sniper rifles (100ft safety distance)

MAG RESTRICTIONS
Mark all your mags with your name/callsign. Players should bring their empty AEG, GBBR, SMG, Extended mags in a clear ziplock bag with a note/label inside clearly identifying them with their owners name/callsign. 
• Pistols, springers and shotys: no limit
• GBBR, extended pistol mags: Limit 4 real-caps (30rnd) or 2 mid-caps
• AEG: Limit 2 mid-caps or 1 hi-cap

AMMO RESTRICTIONS
Players must use GM supplied .20g BB's. Players may not bring extra BB's into the game. If your AEG requires a certain type/brand of BB then you must give your BB's (in ziplock sandwich bags, marked with your name) to the GM , and trade game BB's for them.


REQUIREMENTS 
•A pistol, shotgun, bolt-action rifle or a springer
•Full-seal goggles (no mesh goggles or shooting glasses w/o straps) 
•Red Rag 
•Hydration
•+18/yrs old (or if accompanied by playing parent/guardian) 


RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT
•Face protection recommended (PB goggles for players under 18)
•FRS/GMRS radio 
•BB speed loader (must be empty at start of game)


PLAYER FACTIONS
The Wastelanders 
Survivors and raiders that have formed loose gangs amid the vast wastes
Uniform: Jeans or camo pants with solid civilian tops (except red, orange or yellow) 

The Liberty Militia 
A paramilitary army of the Philadelphia-Trenton Federation
Uniform: Matching multicam or tan camo uniform 

The Hudson Union 
A paramilitary army of the Newark-Hudson Valley Colonies
Uniform: Matching ACU/ABU/UCP, urban or sky camo uniform

The Iron Legion 
A paramilitary army of the Pittsburgh-Bethlehem League
Uniform: Matching green cam uniform

NPCs 
These teams are under the direct control of the GM. All NPC's should bring a backpack or saddle bag for GM supplied game props. NPC's must arrive early to help hide BB's in the field. 

The Super Mutants 
Mutated survivors of nuclear wasteland with enhanced resistance to radiation, wounds and injury 
Uniform: Halloween horror masks with any style clothing. Goggles must be worn under or on top of masks. 
SPECIAL RULES: Mutants require 3 hits to kill. Full auto fire.

The Enclave
Secretive military organizaiton with advanced power armor and weapons 
Uniform: All black/dark-solid uniform with sports/BMX body armor ie. shoulder pads, chest plates, etc. Helmets, gas masks or PB masks required.
SPECIAL RULES: Armored units require 3 hits to kill. Full auto fire.

IMPRESSION CONTEST 
Win a prize for the best Snake Plissken, Fallout or Mad Max impression.
ie.Snake Uniform: Black shirt with camo pants. Eyepatch, stubble and a bad-ass attitude.
