Right now I am using a 8.4v battery with 1200 mAh, how long am I able to make it last?  Is it 5-6 hours or 6-7?

Well there are a lot of variables to that one. You have to take weather into account, batteries last longer in the in moderate temperature. Then you need to figure out how many rounds your putting down range and how much work your motor and gears are doing. As a gunner my batteries don't last more than 4-6 hours because I'm putting down 5000 rounds or more in that time period, I have a weaker spring so it doesn't take a lot of power to get it back. One of my men has a DMR moded M4, he doesn't put more than 600 rounds down range in the same time period, but he has a stronger spring so he gets more time out of his battery than I do but less than the people who just use a standard set up. So if your using a standard set up you should get 6ish hours out of a good battery, at a moderate temperature and not putting too many rounds down range. I hope this helped.
