Airsoft/Paintball (sorry combo field) Help with Starting in Caroline County MD?

So what got me thinking was this video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teVHeSW2rFs

Now I thought that if I were to first get alot of friends and people in my county and surrounding towns to "like" a custom Facebook page just for this area to get an airsoft/paintball field (yes I'm sorry I brought up paintball but in all reality paintball is JUST as popular as airsoft and that would double the chances of getting this going and possibly building two separate fields) Got any tips info and ideas? I know I will need insurance and certain things on the field like first aid working phone to contact emergency services, etc. What would be some things I could do to advertise this other than spread of word through Facebook? I thought about printing off about a thousand business cards with the fanpage to like it and possibly build a website if it gets big?

P.S. I am 14 but don't bother if you're going to shoo me away because of my age. I am a very mature teen and I'm not like most and I am very serious into this sport. Just trying for the sake of my life to get it going around here and be able to ride 10 minutes to play and develop teams in my area and play with surrounding counties. And I am ready to take on any challenge that hits me anyday :)

Heh I don't want to burst your bubble but its not very easy to just start a new field.  Especially if your only 14.  Legally you can't do anything, and you will need alot of money to buy property if you don't already have a place to do this.  Not to mention all of the competition that is already out there and many new fields are about to open up in the next 6-12 months as well.  You might want to wait until your at least out of high school and have some actual know-how into starting a business and everything involved...

And I think Maryland has alot more airsoft fields already in it and mostlikely not much land they would be willing to give up for an airsoft field, but I guess if there was enough community support something like that would be possible but it would have to be a joint effort between all of the current airsoft teams, and players in Maryland and surrounding states.

In the future though I am sure you will be able to find people interested, I might be if ECA don't have a field in the next year or two.

The best thing you could do for now is just go to alot of games, meet alot of people, and start building up a list of people who know and trust you.  Business cards are a good idea too but the thing is making sure you give them to people who would actually be interested in airsoft not someone who will just throw it away.  A website is always a great thing too (which I could help you with) but before you need any of that you will actually need to get a field up, running, and set up and insured and all of that good stuff.

Hope some of what I said might help, and its always good to see ambition in the airsoft community, reminds me alot of myself =)
