How GOOD are Save Phace masks REALLY?

I see these masks evey where i go and i know it protects your face really good but i cant build up the confidence to buy one because i HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOG and just dont want to take that risk.

hey, I know exactly how you feel, I had the same problem with this crappy mask I bought and it would always fog up so I looked online at Zephr paintball i think its spelled and they had a great selection of these masks for different ranges of prices and all i have to say is every save phase mask has this anti fog screening on front of it but unlike other "anti fog" masks, this one actually works!  Now after using it a hundred times the anti fog WILL ware off like any other one BUT it is VERY comfortable and it nicely presses on the face with comfortable foam, they are durable, but best of all, like you said, they will not fog up!!! The only occasion where mine has fogged up is where i wear one of those fabric face masks over my mouth i thought it would do more good then bad but i guess to much hot air gets blown into the mask, but if you dont cover your mouth with anything, it wont fog.   HOPE THAT HELPS  p.s.  IF the anti fog wares out, you can buy pretty cheap replacement covers over top the mask

Fogging is always an issue, all masks will eventually (I wear glasses so I know how that feels...). Try using something called Cat Crap (ok, stop laughing, the product is serious...). You can find it at REI and such. It is the best anti fog spray I have ever used. Just spray a layer inside the lens, and wipe it in with a soft cloth. I have used it at Operation Pines plains and my ESS goggles never fogged once during the entire game.

the only thing to be careful with is if you end up buying a save phase,  DO NOT put anti fog spray in it- reason being- the rubbing alcohol that is in most anti fogs will wear out the anti fog that comes in the mask
