This is a walk on game and community out-reach day for the the Southern Maryland airsoft community, though players from all states are welcome. SMV is part of the two team Southern Maryland Coalition. The coalition is made up of a collection of players with multiple skill levels. The Coalition is open to new teams and both current member teams are recruiting.
This is a free event, all we ask is that you follow a few simple rules.
1) There are no fixed blade knives, real steel weapons or pyrotechnics allowed. The only exception to this rule are field moderators who will carry or have access to knives for emergency situations only.
2) No illegal objects allowed on the field. This includes but is not limited to, drugs, explosives, fire arms or illegal knives (Switch blades).
3) If you are under the age of 18 you must have a parent or guardian sign your wavier. You must also wear full seal face protection.
4) If you 18 or over you must wear at least full seal eye-pro but it is recommended you also wear soft face pro.
5) NO MESH OR SHOOTING GLASSES
6) All players must have a dead rag of the following colors (Red, Bright Pink, Bright Orange)
7) FPS limits must be followed: Auto weapons (410 or less), Semi only weapons (as in cannot be switched to auto or burst mode) (450 or less), Bolt action weapons (500 or less)
8) ROE: (Auto weapons) Auto-30ft or greater, Semi 15ft or greater. (Semi auto weapons) 50ft or greater. (Bolt Action) 75ft or greater. (Pistols) No limit.
9) All BB hits count.
10) All grenades have a 10ft kill radius.
11) Airsoft is a sport of honor, thus you must call your own hits. You must also resist the urge to call other out. If someone is not calling their hits, talk to a field moderator and they will investigate.
12) Dead men do not talk.
13) Medics must hold on to the arm or leg on the wounded member and count to thirty out loud for all to hear. Each player gets 1 revive before having to re-spawn or leave the active field.
14) When killed in a game with re-spawn you must go back to your starting point and loudly count to 60.
Breaking any of these rules may result in you being asked to leave or being banned from the field.
