SUMMARY:Safety & Training Day / Mini OP
DESCRIPTION:ATTENTION:  The first event in MAAPR's Safety and Training
  series will be held on Saturday, March 23 at Paintball Sportsland (PB
 SL). This is an event designed for newcomers to the sport, although se
 asoned veterans will find it enjoyable as well. It will consist of sma
 ll group discussions in the morning, followed by a 3 hour Mini op in t
 he afternoon. Please invite your friends, neighbors, and anybody else 
 who's shown an interest in all of your toys!   The schedule will be as
  follows-   1000-1200: Small group instruction. 4 Stations, 4 groups. 
 Each station 25 minutes.  Station 1: Capabilities of Airsoft weapons (
  What your airsoft Weapon CAN and CANNOT do. This will include an acti
 ve range demonstration.)  Station 2: Law Enforcement and You (or why y
 ou should only play airsoft in APPROVED locations)  Station 3: General
  Skirmish/ Scenario Rules (Basic rules, sportsmanship, and some common
  scenario rules)  Station 4: Tactical Training (a VERY brief introduct
 ion to airsoft tactics)  1200-1245: Lunch/ Prep for PM mini op.  1245-
 -0100: Break into teams, Safety Brief, move to staging area.  0100-400
 0: Mini OP - OP: SANDCASTLE (a fun introduction to Big Game Airsoft. B
 ecause of the nature of the event, armbands will be used for team iden
 tification.)  We are also in need of two team leaders for the afternoo
 n operation. We would prefer somewhat experienced players for these ro
 les who HAVE NOT been Big game Generals in the past, and would like to
  experience a leadership position. Please PM me if you're interested.
