Event Description

On a calm summer day the citizens of La Frontera are doing their daily tasks. The children are at school and the men and women are at work. The city is located on the island of El Hierro. El Hierro is located off the coast of Africa. It is part of the island chain known as the Canary Islands. There is a small military installation located in the city with a total of 85 military personnel and three tanks. Meanwhile, on the north ...coast, a large group of mercenaries is setting up a small forward operating base. From this base they will command a unit 50 special forces soldiers. They work for a German politician named Gustav Grüber. Their goal is to eliminate the OPFOR and to gain control of the island. Will a small force of Spanish infantry be able to keep these mercenaries form pillaging there city? Find out at Operation Frontier.

Spanish Objectives:
Keep control of the city
Keep control of Punta de la Orchilla
Capture FOB
Destroy FOB comm tower

Mercenary Objectives:
Capture the city
Capture Punta de la Orchilla
Destroy military checkpoint along the highway
Destroy comm tower on military base

Rules:
Wear safety goggles
call all hits
dead man tells no tale

Medic:
Medic can revive anyone on the team except himself
When the medic is hit he has to go right to the respawn
You can only healed by the medic once before going back to the respawn
When hit, don't move until the medic gets to you and ties a bandage around one of your limbs

Ammo Limits:
You can only have 500 rounds on your person

To destroy the comm towers and military checkpoint you must have possession of it for 5 minutes.

Comment by Zacary Schlegel on January 13, 2011 at 4:31pm: It's in Slatington, Pennsylvania and it costs $5 to get in. The local airsoft team Near Reality Airsoft is organizing it and it's an at the door only event. There is no limit to the amount of people who come.
