Event Description

Operation Falling Star II

Summer 2012-
The USA successfully detonated a Nuclear Weapon on Mainland China 11 months ago. As the Chinese try to recover from the devastating blow, tensions in Southeast Asia have risen. Following the death of Kim Jun-Il, the Korean Nations have reunited as one Korea. Korean leaders publicly denounced the nuclear attack in their backyard. Before the US could extract the last of its troops from China, they became trapped in the Northern Korean City of Pyongyang. All communication has been lost with them and they are presumed dead or captured. The US began mounting troops at Camp Red Cloud; one of only 2 installations left in the former South Korea for the US; the other being Camp Casey.
The new Korean Government has vowed to kill every American on its soil, and closed all airspace in its region to foreign nationals, for fear they may assist the US. The Americans have vowed to find their soldiers, dead or alive; and get them all back to the US. The Koreans are waiting….

****Korean Team-(GREEN) will be in OD/Green Fatigues, Battle Dress Uniform (BDU), Woodland MARPAT, Woodland CADPAT, Woodland DPM, ATAC-FG & ACU. The PCU jacket is considered part of the ACU.

****USA Team- (TAN) will be in Tan/Coyote Brown Fatigues, Desert Camouflage Uniform (DCU), Desert MARPAT, Arid CADPAT, Arid DDPM & Desert A-TACS, Multi Cam

(Not required, but we ask that all players please try to have a complete load-out. Please try and look the part. Not only does it show seriousness, but it adds value to the game. Thank you.)

***Required: Players without these items will not be allowed to enter the field (This is absolute)
• Appropriate Team Camouflage, gear color is okay
• Red Rag/Glow Sticks/Chem Lite/Flashlight
• Hydration
• Boots (or other STURDY shoes)
• Radio/Communication (You Will Need this; you don’t bring one, don’t complain you don’t know what is going on)
• Timepiece
• Wristband (at registration)

****Suggested:
• Smartphone or something capable of giving you long /Lat. Lines; Geo-Caching will be HEAVILY utilized.
• Bug Spray
• Extra Batteries, Weapons( Riot Shields will Do NOTHING)( and a way to charge batteries)
• Extra clothing, socks, etc.
• Sunscreen
• Smoke grenades( no orange)(cold-burning)
• Pea grenades(cold burning)
• Anything you have to physically light is prohibited from the field
• Military Movies( We have a “theatre” set-up)
• Anything you think you may need
• Compact Shovel/Folding Shovel/Military Style Shovel
If Overnight: Bring anything you need for sleeping, eating, cooking, etc. There are stores within 10 minutes to get extra things.
If not Overnight: Bring whatever you need to get through the day. There are no breaks scheduled during the game.
