Operation Cold Ember will be the second part in a series that follows Dark Harvest. This one will be a one day/all day event. We will also be having some night action as well. It will only go a couple hours after sunset. Sunset will be around 1730 ish that day.
The peace talks between The Prussians and The Norritons are not going so well since The Norritons have procession of most of the area so they want to set the terms. The Prussians are claiming that The Norritons have stolen the area and are demanding most of it back. If the issue is not resolved soon it may escalate into an all out war.
Both sides are now attempting to recruit for their armies and stock pile weapons. They are also in the process of fortifying what areas they own. As of now The Prussian Army is stuck on the south side of the field and only control up to the MSR. As for The Norritons, they own the north and central parts of the field. There is currently a DMZ along the MSR, neither side is able to cross it with out starting a war. The Norritons also own the high ground along the DMZ preventing anyone from crossing it, there is also an open area of no man's land preventing them from pushing into the south field.
Will peace solve the issues? What side will push first? Who will you support if this cold war ends and a real war begins?
Come out to Operation Cold Ember, SEPA's first large game of 2013. Let's start the year off with a fun event and make this one bigger then the others. We had great success with Dark Harvest and plan on building onto that. So for all of you who had a good time at DH, let's run it back. And for those of you who missed it, here is your chance...

102 players total on the roster. We may have a little snow on the ground from the night before, The roads should be clear, drive safely. Operation Cold Ember is a go!
Roster is now closed. We have 80+ players signed up, teams are pretty well balanced. We are still allowing walk on players so feel free to come by if you want to join in on the game.
70 players registered so far. Preregistration ends Saturday, 19 January 2013 at 2359. Walk on fee is still $30.00 and you only get one raffle ticket (about $1,000 in prizes). Preregister now to save $5.00 and get an additional raffle ticket.
Just so you guys know, this will be the last day we are collecting snack food to send over seas to the deployed Pennsylvania National Guard, Task Force Sabre, B Troop, 1/104 Cav. Please bring what you can to help give them something to enjoy. Mostly only looking for snack foods now, the smaller the packaging the better.
Thanks,
Mike
P.S. It will earn you a free raffle ticket!!!
