Event Description

Day thru night , field will be lit, no night-vision required. If you haven't played here, were 5 acres of Hazzard Co. MD. There are plenty of bunkers & obsticles to play thru & around. Same rules as FORT RAMA or any other field. We are not strict mil-sim, but we have lots of games to play to keep the time going. Since we are not an extremely large field I have to limit to 25 or so players. Smoke bombs are allowed (any type). No noise makers or attitudes allowed, we're just looking to have a good time playing Airsoft. We will play from 12:30pm or so til 4:00pm or so to eat. We will then turn on the lights & the fun will really begin. Most of the course will be lit so you do not have to have special night-vision equip. There are still pleanty of shadows. HOWEVER IF YOU PLAY NIGHT OPS YOU WILL NEED A FLASH LIGHT OF SOME SORT ON YOUR GUN. We will have the normal burgers & dogs on the grill, cheap drinks & munchies. If you would like to bring any other food that's fine. If you think you can have a good time playing Airsoft than you are welcome to play. As always RSVP ONLY. Parking is limited so if you can carpool that's great. MARYLAND MERCS ROCK !! YOU IN ?

Founder Comment by David Fultz "Archer" on December 7, 2011 at 6:29pm: If filming is allowed then i actually might bring my England jacket which pretty much consists of every shiny clothing matterial that exists and thermal layers so I wont get lit up; and video during the day game because I want to get some more film for a montage!

Comment by Jeff Hopkins on December 7, 2011 at 5:54pm: I only want flashlights because I don't want anyone falling down because they can't see at night, or getting lost. Last time a player got lost for 2 days. Home depot has them for next to nothing, I am gonna duct tape mine on, & I will have extra here. It also makes your gun look like it is shooting tracers, try it just hold the flashlight up to your barrel. If anyone really needs one I will have xtras.

Admin Comment by Matt G. on December 5, 2011 at 11:11pm: I think the field is going to be lit up to a point where having a flashlight will not really be necessary. And other options may be you could just hold one or something in your hand maybe idk thats what I might be doing, but I dont really think a flashlight will be a requirement, it may just make it a little easier for you. And the game is going to be mostly during daylight too

I WOULD STILL RECOMMEND YOU BRING SOME SORT OF FLASHLIGHT OR HEAD LIGHT OR SOMETHING.
